Cayuga Heights Master Bath
This 60 SF space posed quite a challenge: How can you open up a space and make it feel luxurious and modern within such a tiny footprint?
We gutted the room down to the studs, keeping only the cherry entry door. Rough plumbing lines remained similarly located, however the vanity and shower were re-sized to fit modern proportions and maximize the space.
A palate of whites and light grays make the space seem larger, bouncing light in from the west-facing window. Sleek and simple polished chrome fixtures modernize the space, while touches of tradition keep it relevant in the context of the whole house: beveled subway tile, cylinder art-deco style sconces, and a warm cherry vanity.
Design features include: Walk-in shower with rain head and LED cove-light, custom vanity doubling storage space, floating glass shelf, and electric floor mat radiant heat.
